The Contents Pane shows the contents of the selected folder or the list of folders, if more than one is selected in the disk diagram view.
Folder Contents
Files and folders with different attributes are shown using different text and background color.
- Blue text - folder
- Gray text - file
- Blue background - hidden
- Italic - read-only
- Underlined - system
Size column shows file size, if it is a file, or subtree size, if it is a folder.
You can choose the type of information displayed in the Contents Pane by changing the Contents Pane Settings.
Right-clicking on an element in the Contents Pane brings up one the following context menu:

Elements can be moved to the Recycle Bin, permanently deleted or opened.
You can also open an element by double-clicking on it with the left mouse button.
Shortcut Keys | Function |
---|---|
Delete | Permanently delete selected files/folders. |
Shift-Delete | Move selected files/folders to the Recycle Bin. |
Enter | File: Open. Folder: Open and Select in Disk Diagram. |
Ctrl-Enter | File: Open. Folder: Open in Windows Explorer. |
Backspace | Move one level up (only works if a single folder selected in the Disk Diagram) |
Selection Contents
If more than one folder is selected, then the Contents Pane shows list of folders included in the selection, their subtree and own sizes and full paths.
